Unfortunatly retarded Children and adult do not attract the same political attention. Various bits of legislation mostly uninforceable(i.e antiagesim,color discrimination etc).
are passed by the government, but we are some way till we see actual change

I think people really need to stop and realize that all people have feelings and need to be loved and treated with respect and dignity know matter their short commings.

GFF, don't you think it's time to do away with this thread? Other than my post today, it had been ignored since September 27th, and we're about 1 week shy of November. Plus, I find the title offensive to the entire special needs population. I think the thread should go, but that's just my opinion.
